TSVG announces a brand new pedal, the Babbling Flower Fuzz, featuring a 3 transistor fuzz design.
According to TSVG, this fuzz pedal is designed to provide tight and articulate fuzz by clipping in all the right places.
Like other TSVG pedals, this one comes with a distinct art print on the surface, depicting an image that shows a mountain surrounded by flowers. The peaceful scenery of the graphic seems to contrast what the effect does, which is to produce fuzz that ranges from subtle to chaotic.
Being a three-transistor Germanium fuzz pedal, this unit is designed to give out a classic sounding fuzz with emphasis on the midrange frequencies. These are the types of fuzz pedals that you want for adding color to your lead tone, or for creating riffs that cut through a noisy band.
To get your preferred fuzz tone, the Babbling Flower Fuzz has a set of straight forward knobs that independently control volume, tone and fuzz knobs. With these controls, you can tweak the sound to various degrees of fuzz as you prefer. It also comes with a 2nd footswitch that lets you control the thickness of the fuzz effect.
Aside from the wild artwork, all TSVG pedals are hand built featuring point to point (PTP) circuitry. Their pedals come with components like NOS AC128 transistors, NOS Mullard “Tropical Fish” caps, IRC resistors, NOS G.E. caps, Switchcraft jacks and Alpha pots. The point to point wires are also cloth covered for durability and quiet operation.
