This new multi-effects processor brings with it the convenience of wireless iOS control, allowing you to easily conjure your own tone, share your settings, and try the settings of other users – right on your iOS device.
This new pedal follows Line 6’s current design philosophy, which focuses on convenience and simplification. Gone are the days where it will take hours to setup your gear and tweak your settings, now real-world useful tones are available by simply touching the screen of your smartphone or tablet, and it can be achieved with less clutter.
What you are basically getting is a floorboard version of AMPLIFi, exchanging the speakers for added portability. Because of its pedal like design, it is more portable and easier to integrate to existing rigs. It will be a handy companion for gigging musicians because it works fine with both amps and PA systems.
To recreate your favorite tones or to fine tune your personal sound, the pedal will let you chain up to 8 simultaneous effects from over 200 amps, stompboxes and speaker cabinet simulations. Since having more than 200 modeled gear is no longer as impressive when it first came about, Line 6 added wireless control convenience so you won’t have to lean over to tweak your settings.
With AMPLIFi FX100, you can use your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch to wirelessly configure the unit. Just download the accompanying AMPLIFi Remote iOS app and you get complete access to all the features of the pedal and more. You can then create and store your settings as you would on traditional multi-effects. Thanks to “cloud sharing”, you share your tone creations and download the settings of your friends and other musicians. There is also a nifty rating system so you can get feedback or provide your own evaluation of the tones that you tried.
Following the multimedia features of AMPLIFi, this new multi-effects pedal provides the same jamming friendly features. You can play along with tracks in your music library via Bluetooth streaming audio, and Line 6’s innovative “tone matching” technology automatically sets AMPLIFi FX100 to match the tone of the guitars on your favorite tracks.

The pedal’s sonic versatility is matched by its wide array of input and output options. You can connect to an amp, connect to powered speakers or plug in your headphones to jam silently. AMPLIFi FX100 can even play music tracks from an iOS device through a home stereo, while sending guitar tone to an amplifier!
