Visual Sound V3 Tap Delay

V3 Tap Delay is a scaled down version of Visual Sound’s Dual Tap Delay pedal, offering essential delay features in a compact size.

V3 Tap Delay is basically a single tap version of its big brother, based on channel 2 and housed in a small (4.57″ x 4.72″) sturdy pedal.

The smaller form factor of the V3 Tap Delay makes it easier to integrate with your existing pedalboard or rig.

Quoting Jamie Rowe, Visual Sound’s Director of Marketing: “We received feedback that some guitarists would love to have a scaled down, single tap version of our award winning pedal. With that in mind, Bob Weil and R.G. Keen have created the V3 Tap Delay.”

Since this pedal features the same sound quality as the Dual Tap Delay, it will have the same hybrid analog/digital architecture. It utilizes custom digital IC’s to produce functional delays with time divisions while all the tone shaping and control circuitry is analog.

Although it is smaller in size, it did not sacrifice tonal control. It retains all the essential delay functions which include Tap Tempo, Manual Mode and Time Divisions. Carried over from its big brother, this pedal features Tone Control and Modulation knobs. Tone Control lets you darken or soften your echo while Modulation lets you add a bit of chorus to your repeats. It has dual outputs which you have total control over, and finally the pedal lets you control the delay repeats and effect level.

Visual Sound’s V3 Tap Delay is expected to sell at around $170.
