AmpliTube Slash App

Slash teams up with IK Multimedia to emulate his signature pedals and amplifiers in one software package – the AmpliTube Slash.

This app contains a digital versions of gear that Slash is using, including his signature amplifiers, speaker cabinets and guitar effects, .

AmpliTube Slash is the latest in AmpliTube’s family of official products, and is the official Slash app and software.

It is a full featured guitar amp and effects modeler, sound processor and recording application that feature Slash’s sounds and tones. It is available in multiple formats, you can use it with your iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Mac and even Windows PC. Just load the app, connect your guitar to your device via an audio interface and your all set.

At the core of this app are 2 popular classic rock amplifiers that became the familiar backdrop of Slash when he plays live or in the studio – the Marshall JCM Slash Silver Jubilee and the Marshall AFD100. These amps were digitally modeled with the help of Slash himself and both come equipped with his favorite 1960 Marshall speaker cabinet.

   

To complete the Slash tone, you will also get 6 Slash signature stompbox effects that include Delay, Octave/Fuzz, Gate, Chorus, Wah/Distortion and Booster. You can fully customize these virtual pedals, and assign them freely into any part of the signal chain depending on the device that you are using. 3 stompbox effects into an amp and cabinet on the iPhone/iPod touch; 4 stompbox effects and amp/cabinet/mic on the iPad, and up to 12 stompbox effect combinations into dual amp/cab/mic/room on the Mac/PC.

The app comes with a collection of Slash’s guitar tone settings that you can use to mimic his tones on some of his popular songs, or better yet you can use it as a starting point to find your own tone.

AmpliTube Slash also provides a fully integrated multi-track recording studio for capturing ideas quickly and easily. You can also produce entire songs and compositions. There is also a robust song player section lets you play along with songs or backing tracks from your device library.

AmpliTube Slash App is currently available for iPhone and iPad users via the Itunes App Store and is currently priced at $9.99. You can also purchase the AmpliTube Slash as an in-app purchase for the same price if you already have the free version of AmpliTube. Individual Slash signature models are also available a’la carte starting at $2.99.

Mac and PC users can purchase the AmpliTube Slash via the AmpliTube Custom Shop for $79.99, while individual models are available with a starting price of $5.
