AmpliTube 3.7.1 Update

IK Multimedia updated AmpliTube to version 3.7.1 with big performance optimizations and offers discounts for high gain amp models.

AmpliTube 3.7.1

With this update, you can now run AmpliTube more efficiently in older machines, and more effectively multi-task in powerful computers.

IK Multimedia created this update in response to players who requested for better allocation of CPU power and RAM utilization.

After successfully installing AmpliTube 3.7.1, you can now enjoy better performance with up to 30% less CPU usage, and 35% less RAM.

This gives you more computing power to run other instances of AmpliTube on individual channel strips in your favorite DAW. You can now also afford to open other related software – like songwriting, notation and many others without fear of it affecting the performance of your amp modeling software. The 30% CPU usage reduction also allows older computers to efficiently run AmpliTube in standalone mode, which in turn makes gigging out with AmpliTube even more convenient.

huge gain

The update to AmpliTube also comes with compatibility upgrades with the StealthPedal. It adds the Preset Up and Preset Down menu items (in to supplement the existing Patch Up and Patch Down options) in the StealthPedal controller menu for external switches. This allows the user to choose between changing Presets or Patches using the StealthPedal and its connected switches.

In line with this update, AmpliTube Custom Shop is offering a 30% discount on selected high gain gear with until March 31, 2012. You can get the Soldano, Custom Modern Hi-Gain, MH-500 Metalhead, Vintage Metal Lead and Metal Lead W for as as 3 to 20 credits each at the AmpliTube Custom Shop.

It wouldn’t hurt to try out AmpliTube 3 because you can get the free version.
