Line 6 Mobile In and Jammit App team up to provide you with a convenient way of jamming, recording and learning guitar through your iPad or iPhone.
Their joint effort lets you jam along with your favorite song using a tone that instantly matches the guitar part as played on the original track.
This is achieved through integrating the Jammit software with artist sounds via the Line 6 Mobile In guitar interface. This system lets you experience playing with the original master recordings with a tone that closely represents the original guitar sound.
Jammit is a unique iOS app that allows you to isolate individual audio tracks from original multi-track master recordings. This app lets you play, jam, learn and record your favorite songs as played by the artists themselves. You can isolate each instrument, be it bass, guitar, keyboards, drums or even vocals. When isolated, you can then easily study the lines for practicing, the app even features looping or slowing down for an even better learning experience.
When you use the Line 6 Mobile In digital interface to connect your guitar to your iPhone or iPad, it will unlock additional features within the Jammit app. The app will begin loading amp and effect sounds that are custom matched to whatever song you are playing, and automatically changes the amp and effect setting to match the tracks that you decide to jam along with. Mobile In gives you up to 24bit/48kHz audio quality with 110 dB dynamic range.
