Line 6 updates the AMPLIFi Remove app to v1.1, featuring improved search function and social media integration.

With this update, sharing and getting guitar tones online have become even more convenient. The improved search function also makes it easier to search the AMPLIFi cloud for tones that you will find useful.
The company attests to the immediate popularity of their recently released multimedia speaker/amp by saying, “Since the AMPLIFi product family launched in January 2014, customers have created over 28,000 unique tones, while the number of tones available for tonematch results has nearly doubled.”
Building up on the preset sharing of the first release, the updated AMPLIFi Remote app will now let you share or get presets straight from Facebook and Twitter.
This seamless social media integration will let your followers see the guitar tones that you store on the cloud, and it works both ways. This means that you can see the tones of your friends or you can discover new presets from players that you follow on social media.
Responding to some comments about the search feature of AMPLIFi, Line 6 made some improvements to ensure easier and quicker access to the tones found in the AMPLIFi cloud. Workflow enhancement is also introduced to complement that faster search feature.
Various other usability improvements were also included in this update. Most notable of which is the ability to utilize Tone-Match off-line, it does so by checking on the local “My Tones” folder for potentially useful sounds.
Line 6 also announced that they will be updating the firmware of both the AMPLIFi 150 and AMPLIFi 75 to firmware v1.1. This updated is expected to bring 100 onboard presets that sorted by banks, for convenient recall during performances.
