The headstock does not appear to have ever had a name or logo. I think it still has the original finish.

Stephen at Vintage Guitars Info http://www.provide.net/~cfh/hofner.html says that this guitar resembles a Hofner 449s thinline from ~1960. But he thinks it is a low end Klira.

This guitar has a faulty neckset from the factory.

The faulty neckset may have made it a factory reject. Perhaps that is why there is no name or logo on it.
