Another great spot, myfoot. The auction’s stopped, and I quote:
The seller ended this listing early because of an error in the listing
😯 You ain’t kidding, eBay. I don’t know where to start. Look at the descn:
THIS AMP IS A JCM 800 LEAD SERIES.THE BACK HAS MK2 MASTER MODEL 100 WATT LEAD.MODEL 2203.THE AMP SEEMS TO BE IN GOOD CONDITION,I HAVE NOT PLUGED IN DUE TO NOT KNOWING MUCH ABOUT THE AMP.THERE ARE A COUPLE OF SPOTS WHERE IT APPEARS TO HAVE HAD SOMETHING THERE AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED.THEN I BELIEVE IT WOULD PROBLY WORK,THE WIRES ALL SEEM TO BE INTACKED BUT JUST NEED TO BE COMPLETED.THIS AMP HAS A FEW ROUGH SPOTS ON THE EXTEROR,BUT NOTHING THAT WOULD EFFECT THE PERFORMANCE.ALL THE TUBES LOOK GOOD.IF NOTHING ELSE IT HAS ALOT OF GOOD EXSPENSIVE PART IN IT.THIS IS THE REAL DEAL IN AMPS.I WILL TAKE EXTRA CARE IN PACKING THIS AMP TUBES AND ALL,AND IM OPEN TO ANY IDEAS YOU MIGHT HAVE AND ANY QUESTIONS ARE WELCOME.THANK YOU AND GOOD LUCK
Rule #1 on eBay. If the syntax reads well but the spelling is atrocious there is a 99% certainty that the seller knows this is a load of poop. It’s a getout clause of the “I don’t know much about amps, sold in good faith” variety. I mean, “pluged in”, “the wires seem to be intacked” etc – I ask you 🙄 I wouldn’t touch this basketcase above $300 even as a project. The seller knows this, too.
