: The best thing I would do is get rid of all that shit and go down to the music store and buy a Line 6 amp. It has great warm tone and great effects. It cured my Problem for the 18 years of playing plus all those dam stomp boxes I agree with Dave, but while you are down there try out a Marshall MG head & 4×12 cab and an AVT2000 Marshall head & cab. I was a valve devotee for years but was always caught out by the fact that whenever I switched on my amp (Vox, Marshalls, Orange you name it) I got a different tone every time. Leave the valves to the purists for studio shenanigans and get yourself a decent dig-mod -tranny rig for live work…..they are a damned sight lighter for lugging around too!!! If you really really don’t want to give up your valves, set your amp with all tone controls backed off to minimum and play through a line 6 POD. Hope this helps.
