It turns out last year I bought this guitar you’ve mentioned back in 2001 — the Framus 5/54-50, Serial Number: 13261.
I’m wondering if it been stripped down to a pure wood finish when you had it? Now it’s got a new adjustable bridge, and Grover tuners — it plays really quite well, and the bottom end is fabulous, as you already know. If you know anymore about it, and feel generous with your time, perhaps you could write me a note detailing any facts you might know about this guitar. I actually find it a fascinating guitar and very well made in many ways.
