I already know how to screw and chop using turntables, a mixer, and two identical cd’s. However, I don’t have the funds to just go out and buy thousands of dollars of equipment. I already have the demo version of Screwlab. I’m fixing to purchase the keycode. I just wish that Screwlab also had a virtual turntable feature, so, that, I could make my chops have a more realistic vinyl sound and feel to them. I even e-mailed the makers of Screwlab and mentioned a few possible upgrades and additional features which need to be added. hopefully they will consider the suggestion. In the meantime, I guess, I’ll have to buy a turntable for that purpose. If anyone knows where to find a screw software program that is free, let me know. E-mail me, if you know of any other software programs that can screw and chop besides Screwlab. Otherwise, I’ll just have to be satisfied with Screwlab for now, or, learn how to make software program’s myself, and make the best screw software program out there. it would have the ability to screw and chop, convert music files to MP3, WAV, WMA, etc…, cd layout for sequentializing tracks and arranging, a virtual amp and equalizer, virtual mixer with crossfader, the ability to mix and remix, basically it would have everything that Cakewalk’s Sonar and PYRO program, or Digidesign’s Pro Tools, or Proppellerhead’s Reason program, has, except that it would have a screw and chop feature and a virtual turntable. if anyone knows how to use Cakewalk’s Plasma to screw and chop, then, let me know.
