  1. DIXON DG-3 ACOUSTIC GUITAR
    Anonymous

I have a Dixon DG-3. All mahogany sides, back, and top. Small body, 39″ length. Lower bout 14 1/2″, upper bout 11″, 25 1/2″ scale. Made in Korea. I picked it up on Ebay for about $50. It was unplayable when I got it, so decided to repair it just for fun. It had bridge lifting and a nice belly bulge. I humidified the guitar for about a month, re-set the bridge, then installed a bridge truss. I was very pleasantly surprised with the results. It is probably the easiest playing and best sounding guitar that I own. I trade and sell guitars, but this one won’t be for sale.

My father gave me this guitar when I was 13 yrs. old. I am 55 now. I still have the guitar in the org. case. It is a very nice acoustic guitar. black with white around the edges and peral inlay and peral frets. I would like to know about the guitar. Any info please e-mail.
    thanks Ed

I recently bought a Dixon DG 3 from my brother in law. It is still in the box from original purchase.
It is in mint condition, and look just like a Gibson les Paul. I have never heard of this brand, I play a Takamini. I bought this guitar for my 11 year old to learn how to play on. I know my BIL bought this guitar years ago for his daughter, and she has been diseased for
Many years now. At least 30. I am guessing that it is probably 50 years old, but not positive. Can you help?

I was wondering what the material, such as what kind of wood, was used to make your Dauphin D24. If you could please give me those details, thank you.
