A friend of mine has a solid-body electric guitar bearing the name Baldwin. It’s most unique feature is the controls, which, instead of knobs, are discs which portrude from the bottom of the pickguard.

Can anyone provide or direct me to information about the instrument?

    Thanks

The Baldwin guitar was probably built in the mid-seventies. The control arrangement was also used by Gretsch along in that period of time.Gretsch was bought by Baldwin, and I suspect ideas were shared between the two brands. I’m not aware of any collectable value for Baldwin guitars, although I certainly am no expert. You might contact Ghrun guitars in Nashville to see if the guitar is collectable.: A friend of mine has a solid-body electric guitar bearing the name Baldwin.
