I have a 1968 Gibson Les Paul Custom which, for financial reasons, I am thinking of selling. I’ve had the guitar for over 20 years. It is totally original except for the machine heads, which I replaced with Gibson tuners from my new Les Paul Studio (I put Grovers on that). The paintwork and bindings are original, and to be honest have seen better days, but I didn’t want to have the guitar refinished in case it affected its value. The gold plating is almost completely worn away and the pickup covers have been removed, but it plays like a dream and the tone is superb, much better than my Les Paul Studio. Can anyone out there give me a very rough guide as to how much I can expect for it? Cheers.
