Big Audio Dynamite Fans have rushed to download Nick Hawkins memorial CD 'Last Stand'. On Nov 25th when the CD was launched in an online only format, record numbers of fans purchased the album.
When Nick passed away in his Las Vegas home last month, he was in the midst of completing his 'final opus'. After departing BAD II, Nick continued to compose music for both film and TV, notably The Flintstones, Amongst Friends, BBC and NBC. Nick also co-wrote and produced his wife, Jo Beng.
Nick's wife, singer songwriter, Jo Beng completed his album and launched it, with notable success. Jo stated of her late husband "his works, his thoughts, his vision, were not in vain...they live on". A story of his musical tastes over the last decade, Nick Hawkins Last Stand is a must for the BAD II/ Clash collector.
