When I read Dr Ducks email he sent me... "Check out http://www.ducksdeluxe.com/datesvc.html Dr.Ducks Dating Service .. very possibly the most complete guitar dating site in the world" the first thing I thought of was dates as in relationships. I must be getting desperate, spesh if I think a duck of all people is going to set me up 
Thankfully it is actually for dating guitars. But Err, no, not that sort of dating guitars.
Could be very helpful for some lesser known brands.

| yep sure do... except Joe's used a search function to search through a database. Rather then trying to derive the date manually from the serial. Nevertheless, a collaboration would make for a great database. |

Aha, I've now clicked on it. Yes, Dr Duck's is "howto findout" type of facility. Handy, but not as sexy. Speaking of sexy or not, the link to "find out what people are saying about Dr Duck's Ax Wax" unfortunately reminded me of some programme about these beautician places springing up everywhere.
Apparently, blokes can step in and ask for a "back, crack and sack wax"  |
