I’m considering buying a new Seagull guitar. Does anyone here own a seagull? I’m curious to know how you like it/them. The one I’m looking at is an S6 with the new QII condenser and bridge transducer, cutaway and cedar top. The only acoustic I own now is an entry level yamaha acoustic. I have a Seymour Duncan soundhole pickup that sounds really nice. I’m keeping the little yamaha on my ship. The only guitar I have back home in the states is a cheap strat knock-off and nice Behringer amp. I miss playing the acoustic and my fingertips lose their calluses by the time I make it back to the ship, which is usually one month. I’ve looked at the Blueridge line of guitars and the vintage look and cheap price are rather appealing as well. Any feedback on these guitars would be greatly appreciated. I am in a remote part of the globe where I can only surf the net and look, no guitar shops to speak of here to sample what I think I like.

Seagull’s are generally well regarded. When I was looking for an acoustic back this year I considered them… but f-all distribution in Australia — locally at least.

For a blind purchase I think you would be very pleased with the S6 QII.
