Yep, I came out of Nottingham airport (of all places) and Mrs Bass was renamed “Dances With Brolly” on account of her laughable attempts to walk to the car park in a straight line and stay dry.

BTW, EMA airport has a new line in “courtesy” buses. Having paid £60 for less than a fortnight, I asked if the bus could take us over to #4 car park. “We don’t go there. It’s just past the departure building and straight ahead blah blah blah”

I know where the fricking car park is and, treehugging greenie that I’m not, I wanted to be taken the 800yds with my 8y.o. kid, fashionchav Mrs and gazillion suitcases without running the gauntlet of sideways hailstones. The arses.
