Well Folks What Can I Say….This Guitar Has Been With Me For A While (Almost 8 Years) And Is Truely Wonderful.
A Player’s Dream And Possibly A Collector’s Too….Here’s The Boring Bit….
F Plate On Back Of Neck Has Serial Number 297351
(Was Sold To Me As A 1969 / 1970)The Neck Stamp Is 1969
Has Been Resprayed (I Guess – But Not By Me But The Colour Is Awesome And The Bound Edge Job Is Very Well Done – Also Not By Me)
The Electrics – Bridge Pickup Is The Original
The Neck Pickup Is From 1970 – Single Coil
The Headstock And The Tuners Are Original With The Fender “F” On It
(I Can Email Photos If You Want A Look)
The Body Has Been Routed For A Humbucker (Previous Owner ) So The Scratchplate Is Not The Original But Is Perfect For The Job
Anyway – This Is For Someone Who Appreciates A Fine Instrument
Not Really Interested In People Who Want To Make A Fuss About Originality – (Oh, Is It The Original Volume Knob? Etc)
How Many Left Handed Vintage Tobacco Sunburst Bound Edge Telecasters Do You See These Days, Eh?
So, In Conclusion – Buy It.
You Know You Want To.
