I have my first acoustic guitar bought it used and the inside label was tore out and all I have is a inlay to find out any info on it.  I will try to add a pic and I hope someone will be able send some info myway.  Thanks for all your help, looking forward to getting to know all of you.   Dino#http://s249.photobucket.com/albums/gg225/Dino_08_photos/th_photobucket002.jpg

Apols for the delay, Dean. I’ve been getting set for a quick hol and forgot this thread. Hmmm, with no soundhole label and only a symbol for the headstock inlay, ID is a bit difficult. The likelihood is that it’s been made in Korea or China by one of the big concerns over there that make guitars for various others to put their name to. Nothing wrong with that; Korea and China can make good guitars depending on how much the customer company pays. If yours sounds good then it is good. Sorry I can’t help on the ID (look for any stamped markings in the back of the neck on or near the headstock, though).

I forgot to ask what would be some other ways to help identifiy this guitar?
      Thanks again, Dino

      Hi again, Dino,

That inlay is not much help by itself. Looks like abalone and mother-of-pearl. Can you do a pic of the whole guitar?
