Hi
I’m new to this forum, I just wanted to introduce myself, I’m 50 years old I have been playing guitar on and off for about 25 years, most of these years I have been working two jobs part time construction and Machinist so there wasn’t a lot of time to play, I quit working the part time construction job about two years ago, and now have time to set down and play,

I stared playing classic rock in the army in the 70’s, But now I’m into the 80’s and 90’s mettle. Dio, Metallica, Megadeth ,bands like that, Also some of the music now like Saliva, Slipknot, Disturbed, awesome bands. ACDC is and will always be my favorite band to play.

I had a Half Stack EMG tube amp (bit the dust) that rocked my 1969 SG, but now I play it through a spider III 75 watt digital amp not a bad sound for a digital amp.

Hey sgguy,

Sorry for the delay responding, busy atm.

Saw Metallica live at the MEN last month, amazing show, played stuff from every album (3 tracks from 'Justice...' very happy about that!) Grew up on that stuff.
Disturbed, great band too, don't always like David Draiman's scat but he seems to have toned it down since the first album.

But above all; you play a '69 SG, so I like you Wink Look forward to hearing more! Take it easy,

Tim.

An even later welcome, but welcome all the same. Bit of an SG fraternity building up here, with Lee and gofofgreen as well.
