well, seems like not many heard of J&D guitars... anybody would like to commend more on the brand? i dun really know much abt J&D guitars but am considering in getting one... opinions please ppl...
by the way, i heard that the bass strings sound better on an acoustic guitar than on the semi-acoustic(or some call it electric-acoustic) guitar... is that true??

I would say if you are playing both an acoustic and an electroacoustic acoustically the bass strings will sound better on the acoustic. Of course, thats what the acoustic is designed to do. Now if you want to plug into an amp you're in the electroacoustic's backyard so it will sound better. So, it all depends on what you want to do. sb |

| Electro Accoustics also in general have Laminated tops which sounds better when plugged in, maybe this is where the lack of bass response is coming from? |

| You may want to look at hollow bodies My fist guitar was a copy of a gibson 355 and it's more comfortable to play because it's thinner,but if you want a full acouustic sound go with a nice Yamaha electric acoustic . |
