ValveTrain Amps introduces the Lexington Reverb amplifier

ValveTrain Amplification has announced the release of the latest addition to our Revolution Series, the Lexington Reverb Amplifier. The Lexington Reverb combo boasts all tube spring reverb, point to point hand wiring. The switchable output stage delivers a smoking 6 watts or an apartment friendly 1.5 watts through an Eminence Ramrod 10″ speaker with a retail price of $699.

Unique features include the high/low power switch (6 or 1.5 watts) and a RAW switch that increases gain and high frequency response.

Inspired by the simplicity of the tweed amp designs of the late 1950’s, the amp features a 12AX7 dual-triode preamp tube driving the signal through an all tube spring reverb circuit and into a 6V6 power tube. The controls are Volume and Tone and Reverb.

The Lexington Reverb delivers a varied tonal spectrum from shimmering cleans through crunch all the way to total saturation. A quick flick of the guitar volume knob controls the full range of the Lexington Reverb’s tweed inspired voicing. The reverb provides a touch of ambiance to full out surf tones with its lush full sonic spectrum. Add switchable power levels, the RAW switch and the warmth and dimension of an all tube driven spring reverb circuit and the power level and you’ve got a great low wattage amp

Like its’ sibling the Concord, the Lexington Reverb is built with top shelf components. All of the major components including cabinet, transformers, speakers, board and chassis are proudly made in America. The amp is hand wired at our ValveTrain facility in Sorrento, Florida.

The Revolution Series amplifiers continue to prove that high value and affordable hand wired production amplification is still built in America. There are over 50 American small to medium size businesses in the supply chain behind every one of these amps.

The Lexington Reverb will be at local ValveTrain dealers starting in May of 2009. It is also available as a head unit.
