White Horse 60 Watt Tube Amplifier launched in Red Finish

Gear4music have launched an updated version of their White Horse 60W Tube Amp, in a striking red finish. Using the same combination of a 12AX7 valve-driven half stack guitar amplifier and a 4 x 8" angled speaker cabinet that was featured on the original amp, this new edition provides both a look and a tone that will make guitarists stand out from the crowd.

Since its release in 2007, the White Horse 60W Tube Amp has proved popular, due to its combination of a strong and varied sound palette. The amp provides a large number of usable and impressive tones, from vintage rock and blues to the heaviest metal and punk.

The amp head ships with a closed back, quad speaker with 4 x 8 custom designed drivers. Covered in Red Tolex and featuring recessed handles, a black grille cloth and white trim as well as removable casters the amp has been ergonomically designed to meet the demands of guitarists in both rehearsal and live conditions. With recessed slots in the cabinet to keep the amp head in place during high volume sessions, this amp will go the distance.

Gear4music's Lead Product Specialist, Matthew Collinge explained why he thinks the updated Tube amp is something to get excited about; “we have worked hard to develop the White Horse amp brand since its arrival in the UK in 2007. After an excellent response at the London International Music Show both last month and in 2008 we felt it was time to do something more daring with the White Horse amps. We've kept the same fat tube sound that made the original 60W Tube Amp so popular, but given the new version a look all of its own.

The White Horse 60W Tube Amp is available throughout Europe. UK RRP has been confirmed at £195.00. All Gear4music products come with a minimum one year warranty.
