Eastwood releases Messenger tribute guitar

The 1967 Messenger has been brought back to life with a tribute model from Eastwood Guitars. The original Messenger guitar was developed fourty years ago by a small company named Musicraft, Inc and is now best known as the guitar of choice by Mark Farner (Grand Funk Railroad).

The new Eastwood version captures the look of the original but simplifies the design featuring dual mini-humbuckers, set maple neck and a rosewood fretboard with side dot markers. The Eastwood production will be avaliable in transparent Greenburst and Cherry and it will start shipping in April 2008.
