Vox is recreating the sixties. Well not quite, but their releasing a Limited Edition Vox Mark III, a remake of the Tear-Drop classic made famous by Brian Jones.
Their new Tear-Drop is features northern hardwood body with maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, and constructed in the U.S.A using the same parts as seen on the original.

“With sleekly styled fittings, like chrome knobs and original style pickup covers, it looks as good as it sounds” Vox said. “The teardrop shaped Mark III comes with two single coil pickups and a fixed bridge.”

I am glad to Vox guitars return. They were so unique and cool. I hope more models like the Phantom design and some of the violin basses return.
