Gotham Stands - Modular Guitar Stands
Gotham Stands is set to release their innovative modular guitar stand with automatic trap arm this summer.
More Guitar Stands
These stands have captured the interest of many players, thanks to the innovative trap arm that automatically secures your guitar, and the convenient modular design that lets you rotate the viewing angle and expand the stand into a multi-guitar rack.
There are currently two products available from the company, the Alpha and Omega Stands. Both products feature industrial reliability and modular flexibility, built using patent pending technologies.
The Alpha Guitar Stand is the basic single guitar version that features their unique automatic "trap" arm design. This mechanism conveniently secures the guitar from accidentally tipping without doing anything else other than placing the guitar on the stand. On the flipside, picking up the guitar automatically opens up the lock, allowing for quick storage and pick up without having to worry about your instrument falling.
The guitar stand works great with most solid body and bass guitars, adapters are available so you can use the stand with acoustic and hollowbody guitars. Custom made foam are used on all points of contact to ensure that your guitar's finish is safe from staining and damage. Finally, magnetic quick release is used for conveniently switching the guitar stand head unit into the Omega Multi-Stand
The Omega Multi-Stand System features a unique rail design that easily interfaces with multiple Alpha Stands, which means you can turn your Alpha Stands into a multi-guitar rack. It utilizes the same magnetic quick release design, which means the Alpha head units will easily connect and disconnect with the unit with minimal effort.
Thanks to its modular design, you can expand the Omega rack by coupling it with additional rails. This means that you can set up your guitar stand conveniently to match the number of instruments that you will be putting on them. I can see how useful this is for touring and for studio setups. Finally, the Omega has receiving adapters that will let you rotate the viewing angle to 35 degrees for better guitar viewing.
