Orange is giving away two Dark Terror Amplifiers to lucky fans, and throws in a Micro Terror amp as an extra prize.
This giveaway is a followup to the “Golden Ticket” promotion that Orange Amplification held at this year’s Musikmesse in Frankfurt, Germany.
At Musikmesse 2013, Orange was supposed to give four lucky winner would find a ticket in their merch bag that entitles them to a Dark Terror Guitar Amp Head. Since only two of the four tickets were claimed, Orange is now giving away the other two via a simple online competition.
Orange devised two ways for fans to win a free Dark Terror Amp: The first one is through a random draw of their social media fans, while the other method is through a logo designing competition.
The Logo designing contest is created in celebration of the 45th anniversary of Orange Amplification. The bubble-letter Orange logo has undergone so many redesigns over the years, and now they are outsourcing the logo designing duties to their fans. To join, all you have to do is follow the instructions that they provided on their site. You can download a wireframe of the Orange logo, but you are free to be as original as you want.
If your design is part of the finalists, you will receive an email notification on or before May 21st, 2013. Orange Amplification will then post your design for one 24 hour period as a main image banner on the OrangeAmps.com homepage and the Orange Amplification Facebook page. On your selected day, Orange will also create a Facebook post containing your design that will be “tagged” to the top of their fan page and “highlighted.” Fans will be encouraged to “like,” “share,” and “comment” on your design. At the end of the 24 hour period a tally of the total engagements will be calculated. The winning designer will be notified via email on or after May 29th, 2013. The winning design will receive a special Dark Terror signed by Orange Amps Founder and CEO, Cliff Cooper, bundled with an Orange Micro Terror Head amplifier.
The other Dark Terrorr amp will be given away to a lucky fan that “shares” and “likes” posts that are related to the giveaway. You can do it as many times as you want and you will be in the running to win via a random draw.
