This pedal lets you dial-in various wah positions and lock them in place to achieve various tonal sweetspots and accents.

Also called “parked” wah, it acts like a wah pedal that is parked in order to accentuate or shape your guitar tone. It acts as a pseudo-filter that gives your tone the same vocal quality mid-range found in wah pedals, as well as thick lows and everything else in-between. Various big name guitar players have utilized the fixed wah method to create distinctive tones and sounds.

Tea Philter achieves all this in an easy to customize and build kit. This do-it-yourself pedal kit comes with point-to-point wiring and easy to follow instructions which will let you have your very own working fixed wah pedal in a short amount of time. Gear geeks can even add in their own personalized tonal or physical design customizations.

All essential parts are included, and all you need are basic hand tools and soldering equipment. Just assemble the pedal as specified in the instruction manual and cover it with the included pre-drilled enclosure. Tea Philter is designed to be powered by a 9V battery, you can also purchase a 9-volt adapter for long usage.

Once you plug your guitar in, all you have to do is to experiment with the sweep knob to find the best parked wah setting for your lead and chord work. Turning it counterclockwise is equivalent to placing your wah pedal to “toe” position, while turning it clockwise gives you heel wah position. You can dial-in the right wah shape that will work for various musical applications, from subtle coloration to full on wailing tones.
