C.F. Martin & Co. continue their hotel and resort partnerships, featuring a new venture with Ace Hotel London Shoreditch.

Thanks to this new venture, guests of the hotel will be provided with a Martin DXMAE acoustic guitar in select rooms for the duration of their stay.
The guitars mentioned are especially made for use at the hotel, each one having a custom interior label and engraving on the body that reads, “The left hand is what you know. The right hand is who you are.” They will not be sold anywhere else.
Like their recent partnership with Turtle Bay Resort, the Ace Hotel London Shoreditch will help spread the Martin guitar brand to non-guitar playing crowd, and at the same time they also spread the word about the resort and hotels to their guitar toting fans.
Martin’s Marketing team has their eyes set on making their presence felt within the hotel and resorts industry. It is a bold move that may or may not pay off, but the good news is – it provides additional premium for the paying guests at the hotels and resorts.
Having a quality acoustic guitar as part of a room you are renting would definitely be a tempting offer for traveling musicians and enthusiasts, hopefully this will encourage more people to travel and stay on hotels, which should be good for business.
Martin has been partnering with Ace Hotel New York since 2012 on their 5@5 series, providing guitars for the intimate performances that feature five songs at 5 pm by up-and-coming artists. These new venture brings the guests up close and personal to the Martin guitars, rather than just seeing them being used by artists.

This includes pin-up cork boards, radios, turntables, special quilts and of course, the custom Martin DXMAE guitars.”
