Hartman Electronics has announced release of its 8va Octave Fuzz pedal, a faithful recreation of one of rock’s seminal effects: the Tycobrahe Octavia.

Using carefully selected premium-quality components to replicate the exact signal chain of the early ’70s Tycobrahe, the Hartman 8va delivers the full range of classic tones of the original: raucous, searing fuzz; blooming, crystalline upper octaves and space-age ring-modulation effects. Frequently requested defeatable mods are available including Octave On/Off, and a specially designed input level trim to accentuate the octave character of the sound.
Each Hartman 8va fuzz features heavy-duty true-bypass switching, ON/OFF LED indicator, external 9VDC power in jack. Mil-spec plated-through-hole printed circuit board construction features premium-quality components and the same transformer-coupled Germanium diode rectifier stage as the originals. Assemblies are meticulously grounded and shielded in a rugged metal enclosure to ensure quiet, RF interference-free operation.
Hartman Electronics pedals are made in the USA. Each unit ships with a new 9V Carbon Zinc battery and carries a 1 year limited warranty.
MSRP: 69.99US
