im buying an old wayne acoustic guitar im not sure what year but is lovely older style are you able to give me a rough estimate on how much i should pay for it ,its in good condition .and can you tell me are they a good older heavy quality type wood and did they have good tone.

hello-your axe isn’t 81-83… i had a 326xxx charvel and it was like an ’88. I currently have a 1986 model 3, #224790 or 223790, cant remember-guitar is at the studio, but all "ft. worth texas" models are japanese, but when set up correctly are the best guitars on the planet- i recently had mine appraised at $2000 and was specifically told "NOT TO SELL IT!" I got a couple from ebay. I see them floating around from time to time on there in various sizes. The ones I bought are the 2 inch variety but I’ve even seen them in the 1 3/4 inch size too and even in gold.
