Blow me, I’ve just bought an acoustic (EAB), fretless, 5-string, lefty bass 😯 I’m in the acoustic club after all, but I thought I’d run a thread on it over in Bass Cat, seeing as the “fretless” bit is the most novel for me.

Don’t look at me I’m just a lurker most of the time due to my vast and in depth lack of knowledge!

I do have an acoustic bass, I guess I’ll just ask the questions where I think I’ll get an answer, like, tunings in the bass cat, body problems ( 😯 ) in the acoustic cat.

I’m also an F-hole-owner too.

And then theres always the drunken ramblings, they tend to find there way everywhere.

Tim will know better than I do. I haven’t gone spruce-top-four-string. I’ve just bought a fretless solid with a duff nut. Guess how long it’ll take for a replacement 4-string Jazz lefty nut? Four weeks.

Sheesh. Now you know why I can take a little time posting a thread 🙄
