On August 27th, 1990 the world lost its most beloved blues guitarist – Stevie Ray Vaughan. Today, the SRV Memorial Scholarship Fund helps students pursue their dream in music in the same inner-city Dallas neighborhood where Stevie spent his childhood.
The fund raiser for this scholarship fund – the 10th Annual SRV Remembrance Ride and Concert on October 4, 2004 – will honor Stevie’s 50th birthday with Double Trouble and Friends. Food, beverages, and vendors will be on site. There will be several raffles including a unique SRV airbrushed Fender guitar, SRV replica hat and two roundtrip tickets on Southwest Airlines to anywhere they fly!
