Framus acoustic 12 string

I have a Framus Model Jumbo 5/297 12 string acoustic.
i can find no information on as to age, value,etc. It's in excellent condition, serial number is 48734. Any info would be appreciated.

Bought it in a second hand shop about 12 years ago. Don't know anything else about it really - other than it's a Framus.
If anyone reads this who knows anything about it - info would be appreciated.

yeh i have a framus passed on from my dad.only problem is the neck is slightly busted, i need to know what kind of value it has to decide whether to get it repaired, any answers gratefully recieved

i have a 12 styring 5/297 as well same number same everything maybe the color is different..GOOD LUCK I LOVE THIS GUITAR ITS ONE OF MY FAVORITE IN MY COLLECTION

I can help brother. I got one of those my self. A friend of mine kept it in his closet for a long time and totally destroyed it, so he gave it to me. I've done some research, looking for parts and what not. Turns out that they were made in in Bavaria, Germany in the late 50's to early 60's and are now a days valued at around $275 if in good condition. They are really nice guitars, pretty rare too. Take care of it!
