Les Paul 25/50 Anniversary - How much is it worth?

I have recently been given a guitar and need to insure it- can anyone help?

It is,

1978 Gibson Les Paul (Boxed/Never played til now)
25/50 Anniversary edition
Very heavy - gold/brown colour (not a goldtop though)
2 humbuckers
4 on guitar controls -2 volume 2 tone
3 way rythm/treble switch

Hi Matt,
I have searched the web and found prices of $1795 for a slightly beat up unit and $2200 for one in mint condition. I just had mine repaired and the shop owner thought it might be worth $4K and advised me to check e-bay to see what they are actually selling for.
