fender strat squier made in usa

I'm waiting too. Been waiting since 1972 to hear anything from Fender. Looks like they do NOT communicate. Bummer, and I spend so much $$$ on their products. I've developed dozens of contacts with musicians, dealers, experts & authors over all these years - it's been great, but I still need to know about USA Squier as well. I built one of my own Strats with a Squier USA body as the basis for the guitar. So, I have personal interest and could say ggod things about the product but ... the manufacturer doesn't care about us. Selling is their thing. Info is not. And they are rumoured to be for sale. They want out of it, again! Anybody got 500 mill? Strat man Dwight
