Hohner Arbor LW400N

Help wanted, please. I bought the LW400N @ 1984(ish) can anyone tell me what type of wood its made of, where it was made and did I make a mistake paying £140 for it at that time. Cheers, folks.

probably made a mistake paying that for it (mine was about £60 new). as for the wood - wood? laminate springs to mind. Still, it does the job, although when i used mine once in a studio it wrecked havoc with the engineers tube mike (too loud and distorted apparently) - i thought 'cool, an acoustic wot distorts!')

Mine recently had a tuner snap off, and even though its discontinued and they don't make the replacement tuners for them Hohner Uk sorted me out with a solution free of charge (i.e. bits i could screw on to replace the broken bits).
