Question about Rewiring a strat input jack.

Anyone out there who can answer this simple question please do so. i am needing to replace the input jack on my strat. I have the parts to do it, I just need to know if there is anything in particular I should do prior to the replacement. Is there anything else I need to do other than take out the old one and sauter the new one in? Any help would be appreciated.

nope you got it. Just pull the old one out and solder the new one in. Just make sure right wire goes to the tip and sleeve.
