I own a gray p-40. Bought it about 6 months ago. Used it on my last CD. I am very happy with the guitar. As compared to a strat, I think it is superior in many respects to the run-of-the-mill strat for sale everywhere.

A guitar is an individual thing. I may have just gotten lucky. I bought it without ever playing one. But I hve no regrets.

Look hard, buy low, and if it is not satisfactory you can recoup 80-90%. The guitars are very playable and versitle. If I bought another, more expensive guitar I would keep the little p-40.
