Hello everyone!
I’ve been playing my acoustics for awhile and just recently purchased my very first electric guitar. I was reading info on serial numbers and got curious about my own guitar. What I have on mine doesn’t seem to sound like what everyone else has. I purchased the guitar new from a major local shop. Here are the details:
Epiphone G-310 SG – Ebony finish
NO numbers on head stock or neck. (Neither sticker nor imprint)
Small black and white sticker saying “MADE IN CHINA” in between tuners.
Number engraved in neck plate reads: 1005130302
Why don’t I have a letter before my serial? The number matches the sticker found on the outside of the guitar’s original packing box. Does this mean it was made in October 2005? Many, many thanks to whomever can help me out.
P.S. I absolutely love this guitar!!!
