Best Stones Song
Why is it that some people think I'm crazy because I think Angie is their best? Rather, what makes so many people dislike it?
Apart from Wild Horses - the lyrics can hardly be beat. Very true I think.
/Edited to add some reasoning/
I HATE Emotional Rescue, that whole LP was a right stinker, there was a decade when Keef and Mick were not speaking to eachother, and it resulted in a whole load of drivel, Rescue being one of them.
Over the past 5 years things have improved between the Glimmer twins and it shows in the CD's they are recording.
A Bigger Bang, is a great record, they really are on top form again.
But have a listen to squale 2's link to his own recorded MP3 file and try and guess the stones song.
I sure cant.
Could be anything.
That was my guess. Thw two combined into a double whammy of attitude.

At least, a thing is sour, it is that my post of Mp3 of shit did not leave indiferrent, and it was essence, I find, that you nevertheless have a slightly twisted spirit, but you do not inquitez, I will not leave, the business, I will encrust yourselves serious with low register And thank you for your criticisms constructive. :P
I agree Squale. Lee is obviously so in love with the Stones it has faded his judgement. He is very sour and slightly twisted in the spirit region. That's right eh Lee? :P
Mike, his avatar keeps looking at me
Seriously, which Stones song is it? i cant make it out, and i would like to know.
Thanks
Lee.
Sorry if i dont sound constructive.
Wrap alfoil around your head and rub butter on your chest. It's what I do to stop your avatars reading my mind. Especially your twisted spirit.
Actually, I'm looking forward to Lee encrusting himself serious in low register. I'll vote for that.
Don't misunderstand me, please people. "Satisfaction" is a great song but the guitar riff is the hook (and I agree that the lyrics spoke to a lot of young blokes at the time). Mike (Blanche) I certainly didn't intend to imply that I knew something you didn't. Apols if came across like that.
No, what I meant was that "Satisfaction" fails the "ringtone" test on the vocal melody. Take a monophone like my old Nokia and, using the composer (worst 'instrument' I've ever written music on) feed in the vocal line. Boring, isn't it? Not quite as bad as Kaiser Chief's "Oh my God!" but still boring. That's the reason why I'd hesitate to call it "Best Song", even though I'm like everyone else and do that head+neck movement as soon as the riff comes out of the speakers :)
Angie, and honty honk , and -->> http://d55.yousendit.com/F/2KT3V1F35CXR10MVZVI28FW038/stone_New.mp3 i playing because i don'y know the name ..
first one to guess that tune wins a special prize.
Ive been playing Stones and listening to them for 30 odd years and i cant make it out.
Do you have 2 guitars playing 2 different tunes?
sounds like im standing inbetween 2 music stands at the 'Mad about guitars' yearly event at the NEC.
kind of sounds a bit like 'Cant always get what you want' but only a tiny bit.
See if you can get the name of the song for us, give us all a laugh.
