SUZUKI TAKAHARA 12 STRING

Hi
I have 1977 Suzuki Takahara 12 strin acoustic, it was a gift in 1977 therefore I don't know what it cost new. the guitar is in excellent condition
except for a belt scratch on the back. What I would like to know is what the value is and is it ,as I have been told a collectors guitar.( this I doubt)
The quality is a lot better than my old faithful which I sold about 10 years ago the EKO. any help much appreciated.
