I have a question about the Iceman.

Does anyone know how good the ICX 120 really is? I've been having a lot of troubles with mine, esspecially in the pick-ups (which I should have replaced with some EMGs in the first place). When I first got it almost 3 years ago it was a wonderous beast, whipping out thrashing solos at my bidding :D. But now the neck is bent like a hooker and it can't carry a note even if it used the same hairspray as Conan O'Brien. The body of it's also cracked at the neck now so theres nothing I can do about it, but I want to know if it was accually the way it was built or did I just get screwed when I bought it (It was not used). http://namm.harmony-central.com/SNAMM00/Content/Ibanez/PR/X-series.html . Sucks to have to say good-buy to this guitar :(.

Sounds like a real duffer, have you tried contacting the manufacturers?
maybe it has some kind of 10 yr warranty against matrerial defects?
I know Gibson and Fender carry a long warranty, which i know are usualy as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike, but it has to be worth a go.

Think it has a 3 year warranty whihc I should still be under, but Ibanez warrantys are horrible becuase they do not fix "problems that do not often occur in the product"...... while warrantys are there for "problems that do not often occur in the product" lol. Already had that problem with my last Ibanez, when the whole back eventually just fell off and I still don't know how. When I sent it in to be repaired they claimed it was slammed against the ground, so yeah Ibanez kinda pissed me off lol. After this problem I'm probably going to wait a while before getting another Ibanez.
