Gibson j200

I was wondering if you guitarists could take a second to help me out. I own a 1952 gibson j200. Everything on this guitar is exactly like the old j200 except for one thing. It has a bowtie bridge! however, this guitar is not a refin, so there is no reason to believe it was put on later. Do you know if gibson ever made the j200 with a bowtie bridge? The floral pattern on the pick gaurd is white with yellow dots in the flowers and the serial number is even consistent with 52' A11744 any help would be appreciated. Oh and I had one dealer even tell me it may have been a custom, but I am not going to get my hopes up. I love the way this rare gem sounds :)

Thanks
Michael
