1964 Gibson guitar value???

I am trying to find the value of a 1964 Gibson Hummingbird Guitar. I have a friend looking to sell one, and have no idea what price range it is in. Can anyone help??

Model# ?
Serial# ?
Other?

I am not sure if it is the serial number or the model #, but the only number I have from it is 183317, I am THINKING it is the model number. I do know that another friend who knows more about guitars, looked at it and said the tone was excellent and in very good condition for its age. I do have pictures of it, that can be emailed.

The price guide value is in the vicinity of $2,800-$3,800 depending on condition and whether it is a Cherry Sunburst or a Natural. sb
