Im in year 7 and for my music assignment to make my own sound source, I am going to make a acoustic guitar.

I have got some MDF that I will use for the body, some pine that I will use for the neck and head and Im thinking of using fishing line for the strings.

I would like to put a pickup on the guitar but I think it would be out of my budget, besides Im probably going to use four strings to make it an acoustic bass.

Do you guys think i should use six string?

Any suggestions for anything else?
