Kay vintage series guitar

Kay company folks; I recently found a Kay Vintage Series (with "1960" on the pickguard)hollow body electric that looks and sounds similar to a Gibson ES-175. Anyway I can find out the year? It is most likely a re-issue, not an original Barney Kessel era axe. I think it dates from either the early seventies or mid-eighties. No serial number is visible and the body is not hollow but instead has quite a large (and weighty) block. Any info would be great. It sounds great...
