I have such a guitar I bought in 1979 or 1980 for about $125 if my memory is correct. I still play it and use it for a traveling and camping guitar.

I too bought mine about 1980 or so, it cost about $189. I use it for camping and things where I don't have to worry about bumping it. The aluminum neck is awesome sounding! I'd love to see this neck used on new guitars.
